Wastewater meeting for Greytown

A meeting on Masterton's wastewater upgrade is being held in the Greytown Town Hall tonight.

Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting, which is the last opportunity for consultation before the New Year. Further meetings will be held in the New Year.

Tomorrow's meeting forms part of the public consultation process as the Council moves towards a single preferred option for the upgrade. People who were unable to attend the recent Open Day or a public meeting at the Masterton Town Hall earlier this week, will have an opportunity to view information on the available options and have their queries answered at tonight's meeting.

Fourteen possible options for the upgrade were identified in October, and these have been narrowed down to four preferred options. The meeting at the Greytown Town Hall will run from 6 till 8pm.
