Video: White Kiwi hatches

A third white kiwi chick has hatched at Pukaha Mount Bruce National Wildlife Centre..

The chicked hatched on Sunday overnight and rangers found it in the incubator the next morning.

Iodine is applied to the navel to aid in drying and preventing infection and then the chick is placed in a dryer to dry out and rest.
