Wairarapa shoppers were sent into a spin yesterday when Hollywood star Orlando Bloom was spotted with his model wife and their baby.

Bloom was spied in Greytown at 3.30pm checking out Main St stores alongside wife Miranda Kerr and the couple's 11-month-old son, Flynn.

Hope and Glory owner Vanya Wilkinson said Bloom had a quick look around her store.

She said while they didn't end up buying anything, Bloom told her while leaving that, "It's a very cool shop".

"He looked at a blanket Greytown cushion and said that it would look good in the Malibu house," she said.

The trio then hopped into a 4WD and headed north.

"The baby's very cute, they all are actually," she said.

Bloom is in the country filming for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit.
