More gales coming
Another period of severe westerly gales is looking increasingly likely for eastern parts of the North Island south of Napier from this afternoon through to tomorrow morning.
Westerly gales are expected to develop in exposed parts of northern Wairarapa with severe gale gusts of 130km/h possible there from around mid-afternoon through to late tomorrow morning.
