Mix of experience in Carterton team

Carterton Swimming Club will be represented by a mix of experienced campaigners and first-timers at the national age group championships in Wellington next week.

Youngest in the squad is Amy Te Maro who is taking the step up from juniors to national age groups and she will be joined by three Smiths - Samuel, Jacob and Nick - plus Jock Cudmore, Taylah Mawson, Bella Biggs and Joe Hammond.

Both Biggs and Hammond have tasted success at the highest levels in the past and will be expected to feature prominently again but their clubmates should also relish the electric atmosphere created by a meet which has the country's top age group swimmers all competing.
