Several Masterton firms have shut their doors in recent months but some hope to reopen soon.

Domino's Masterton plans to reopen its doors - if it can find the right person.

Domino's Pizza NZ general manager Josh Kilimnik said the store was being run by the chain instead of a franchisee before it closed in November 2012.

He said the closure was because "essentially we couldn't find a franchisee".

"We are keen to reopen as soon as possible in a new location and are hoping to attract a new franchisee to help get this under way," he said.

Five staff were affected by the closure.

Other businesses to close in Masterton include Reeves Office Products Depot, Pit Stop Masterton, and Fusion Fast Food and Take Aways.
