Man dies after incident in Featherston
Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man died in Wellington Hospital from an alleged assault in Featherston overnight.
The man, believed to be aged 35-40, died from injuries received in the incident that took place just after midnight on Fitzgerald St, said Inspector Mike Coleman.
The victim was taken to hospital where he later died.
