Havelock take pair of titles at Greytown

Havelock North grabbed the major spoils in both the senior and colts divisions when the Greytown Rugby Club held its annual Top Pub sevens tournament at Greytown.

The senior section attracted 10 teams, including just the two local sides in Greytown and Carterton, both of whom were eliminated in pool play on Saturday. Havelock North and Wests Roosters of Wellington played off in the final with Havelock North winning 33-12.

Six teams contested the colts division, including Greytown, who made it to the semifinals and Martinborough who got through to the final where they were beaten by Havelock North 36-17.
