Good times rolling with live music

Revellers at Martinborough's La De Da New Year's Festival arrived yesterday morning in anticipation of two memorable nights of live music.

Thousands of affable music fans attended the festival yesterday which continued on until 2am this morning.

The weather was relatively calm yesterday morning as punters arrived.

Photographer Mark Kneebone said people who came along "were in good spirits" and were very eager to get started with the music and festivities.

An estimated 5000 people are expected to flock to Daisybank Farm today for the New Year's Eve extravaganza which includes headliners Shapeshifter, De La Soul, Andy C and Masterton's own K.One. The music today will start at 4pm and continue until 4am.
