Emergency services at Masterton crash

UPDATED: Two women have been taken to hospital as a precaution after a collision on SH2 just south of Masterton.

Emergency services including fire, police and Wellington Free Ambulance crews attended the crash between two vehicles at the corner of Cornwall Rd, SH2 and Norfolk Rd about 5.30pm on Friday evening.

Two women from one car were taken to hospital as a precaution, police said, while four occupants of another vehicle were uninjured.

All were wearing seatbelts.
