Eketahuna pair charged with robbery | Wairarapa News | Local News in Wairarapa

Two Eketahuna people appeared in Dannevirke District Court yesterday charged with offences relating to the aggravated robbery of the Hotel Eketahuna on November 8.

Christine Wolland, 26, and Phillip Holland, 30, were convicted and remanded until January 28 for a pre-sentence report and sentencing.

Both pleaded guilty to a joint charge of theft, being cash, alcohol and tobacco from the hotel and Wolland to a charge of making a false statement to police at Eketahuna on the day of the robbery.
