TREV HILL, left, of Wairarapa Classic Hits FM and male strippers Samuel Ciccia and Billy Van Derkooi, of the Sydney Hotshots, stripped down yesterday all in a good cause. Hill had organised a car wash to raise money and awareness of breast cancer and brought aboard Ciccia and Van Derkooi to put an entertaining spin on the proceedings, but all the while underlining the seriousness of fundraising and raising awareness of the illness. Each year in New Zealand about 1920 women develop breast cancer and 620 die from the disease. Hill said Ciccia and Van Derkooi, part of a five-man troupe on a New Zealand tour and who last night performed at Masterton's Cosmopolitan Club, both knew someone affected with breast cancer.
