CRUNCH: Chris Megaw, Masterton road safety sergeant, inspects a car involved in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Queen St and Te Ore Ore Rd yesterday afternoon.

Mr Megaw said an elderly driver was taken to Wairarapa Hospital after the incident, though he did not know the nature of his injuries, and a female driver was also taken to hospital with a sore neck.

He said it appeared one car had crashed into the back of another, and it in turn had hit another car. The incident happened just after 4pm and caused delays at the busy intersection for about 30 minutes.
