Sauna set for action

WAIRARAPA people who want to drop a bit of sweat without having to run round the block will get their chance next month when the rec centre sauna comes into commission.

Masterton builders MB Brown Ltd have been hired to put in the sauna in a room alongside the centre's spa pool.

The sauna is largely being paid for by a grant of $22,000 from Masterton Host Lions Club as a gift to the people of the district.

The remainder of the cost ? about $8000 ? is being picked up by Trust House.

Once the sauna is in the facilities at the rec centre will be complete. All that remains to be done at the complex is outside planting during winter.
