First in line for place at ‘heaven’

Long-time fan Conrad Fudakowski heads the pack queuing for tickets at Vinyl Heaven for Shihad's upcoming gig at the Horseshoe on January 27.

Mr Fudakowski, 26, has been a fan of the veteran Wellington hard rockers for about a decade and is hoping the Melbourne-based quartet play a few tunes from their back catalogue - especially tracks from the band's debut Churn.

Shihad play the R18 gig upstairs at The Horseshoe on Wednesday January 27 just days before supporting AC/DC on their Black Ice Tour of Wellington and Auckland.

Shihad's management said the band chose the Horseshoe for its proximity to the Capital and were excited to be playing the one-off sideshow at what will be one of the smallest venues they've played in a very long time.

*Capacity strictly limited - tickets available from 9am Wednesday 20th January at Vinyl Heaven and Golden Shears Bar. Doors open 7pm.
